This offers two forms of annotation for your corpus, text segment mark-up and abbreviation simplification.

 

Text segment mark-up

 

The idea here is to mark up your corpus with <s>, <p> and/or <h> tags so as to mark sentences, paragraphs, headings like this

 

 

 

 

Abbreviation simplification

Edit abbreviations by loading up a suitable text file such as this:

 

This will replace Mr. with Mr, Mrs. with Mrs, etc. The point is that the full stop character does several jobs (decimal point, end of sentence, abbreviation symbol) and it is handy to reduce the ambiguity.
