The point of it
The idea is to show the frequencies as they grow though the list
The first entry has 46, the second 20 and that sums to 66. OF brings the total to 82....
How to do it
You can do this via the Column Layout window or just by choosing Compute | Cumulative frequencies in the menu.
WordSmith computes a new column next to the Frequencies column. It recomputes as appropriate if you change from Frequency to Alphabetical view of your data.
