The point of it

 

As well as getting the word-list, you can get a spreadsheet showing the amount of text in your corpus in terms of dates.

 

Data on the individual text files is in the word list as usual. The focus here is on the text file dates.

All  the text files dates within January 2020 amounted to 50,875 words. The greatest amount of writing in that source in 2020 was in November.

 

How to do it

When you make a word list, look at the Advanced tab:

 

Choose no for regular word lists, or years or years and months for the spreadsheet to get computed as well as the word list. The spreadsheet gets saved and opened automatically; you can choose to Save it As in some suitable folder of your preference.
