It can be handy to compute a breakdown of the search-word by the different files in your concordance.
Example
With this concordance, based on lots of text files
choose Compute | Summary Statistics and you get this.
If you press Count, you will get something like this:
showing that there are 551 concordance column entries containing the word hope, and 241 text files, hope was found 13 times in the concordance entries which referred to text file J3W.TXT .
